When we see comments online like "the print faded in two washes," it breaks our hearts, because the problem isn't with the printing technique itself, but with how a particular technique is applied.
What is DTF?
We use DTF. It stands for Direct to Film: the design is first printed onto a special film, then transferred to the fabric using a heat press. The result is a flexible layer — it stretches with the fabric, so it doesn't crack. Colors come out vibrant, and even photo details are printed clearly. That's why it's one of the best techniques for personalized photo T-shirts.
"So, it never gets damaged?"
The honest answer: with improper care, any print will deteriorate. Proper care involves three simple rules: wash inside out, don't exceed 30 degrees Celsius, and don't iron directly over the print. That's it. We also don't like tumble dryers, so stay away from those too.
Our workshop rule
Every print is individually checked after it comes off the press. Faded, crooked, or dusty prints are not packaged — they are reprinted. In a mass production factory, no one checks a single T-shirt; this is the luxury of a small workshop. If you're curious: details are available on our DTF Printing and Quality page.
If you have any questions about the print, feel free to ask; seize the opportunity to talk directly with the printer.
