How to choose an oversized t-shirt? (A guide to not regretting your size choice)

We've received many messages like "I tried to get an oversized fit, but it ended up looking like a sack." It's not your fault; there's a science to oversized fashion that nobody tells you about.

Rule 1: Looseness gets its power from the fabric

An oversized item made from thin fabric won't look loose, it will look tired. A thick, heavy fabric, on the other hand, gives that "deliberately loose" look. If you feel the weight of the t-shirt when you pick it up, you're on the right track.

Rule 2: Shoulders should be dropped, length should be balanced

In a true oversized cut, the shoulder seam falls over the arm, and the length comfortably covers the hips. A larger size of a regular t-shirt is not oversized – it's just a large t-shirt.

Rule 3: Size selection according to your intention

If you want a classic oversized look, get your own size (the cut is already loose). If you want a slightly more fitted look, size down one size. If you're unsure, lay your favorite t-shirt flat, measure it, and compare it with our size chart – it takes five minutes and eliminates regret.

Rule 4: If it's printed, the rest should be simple

If you're wearing a printed oversized item, keep the rest of your outfit calm; let the print be the only statement piece. Our oversized collection has both styles.

If you're still undecided, write to us, and we'll look at it together.
